What is the difference between ultrasonic rhinoplasty and the conventional technique?

Conventional techniques use hammers and chisels to thin the nose. Ultrasound allows the nasal bones to be sculpted very finely, without damaging other structures. This allows for a much faster recovery, better results and, above all, safer.

What happens if I don't live in Mexico City?

There are many alternatives for our foreign patients. It is possible to carry out the assessment and most follow-up consultations virtually.

Do I need to bring any studies to my evaluation appointment?

No. Dr. Fernández will request the pertinent studies during your appointment.

How long can I return to my normal activities?

It varies from person to person, but generally within 3-5 days of your surgery you will be able to return to your normal activities.

Can I perform my surgery in conjunction with other procedures?

Yes, it is very common for rhinoplasty to be performed on the same day along with other procedures such as Neck Lposuction, Buccal fat pad removal, Chin surgery, among others.

Will my surgery be exclusively aesthetic or also functional?

All surgeries performed by Dr. Fernández are aesthetic and functional. We firmly believe that a beautiful nose must breathe well.
